The engraved plate is highly duration and resistant to all weather conditions.
Q. Does it matter which way up the plate is attached?
No, you can attach the plate any way you want.
Q. What if the URL changes for the online memorial?
The URL encoded on the plate can not be changed. However, an alternative solution would be to establish a web redirect from the encoded URL to the new one.

Q. What happens if my QR barcode plate is damaged?
In the event of vandilism to the barcode, you will need to have it replaced. With effort, the plate can be removed with the self-adhesive backing and area prepared for replacement.

Anyone with a smart phone will be able to scan the barcode, however if you have your memorial password protected, only a select group will have acess to view and post their message.
Q. Will it stick to a wet or dirty gravestone?
Ideally, the plate should be applied to a region which is dry, clean and dust free. We suggest using a cleaning agent to remove any grime.
Q. What will it stick to?
The self-adhesive plates will stick to all material we know of as being used for headstones and urns. We do suggest that the surface area you decide to place the barcode plate is dry, clean from greese or dust and preferrably as warm as possible.
Q. I live in a hot location, will it fade the engraving?
No, periods of long intense direct sunlight will not fade the engraved barcode.
Q. Can I pick any memorial website to encode in the QR barcode?
Yes, you can choose any memorial tribute URL to encode on your plate, however we do offer wonderful online memorial packages which you can trial before you order.
