In Memory of Josephine Knicely
6th June 1919 – 24th February 2008
                        Why we loved her

Because she was beautiful-her wonderful eyes.
We loved her stories-home in the mid-west (that's how we came to know all of you.)
Her cooking was terrific-
She loved literature-a serious reader.
Her sense of humor.
Didn't mind our ravings about politics, even tho she was Republican.
She really had a wonderful life, and she made ours wonderful, too.
Most of all, her love of life. She saw the best in everything.
Finally, her love of all of us.
She made us happy, just to be around her.
We cannot think of her as gone.
She is with us still.
At Easter, Labor Day, Christmas, whatever.
We will keep her with us.
We have the permanent memory of a
truly adorable human being.
                          Thank you, Jo

For Norma, Ella, Arlou, Julia, Fran, Heather, Marian, Cynthia, & Glenda, our inspiration.
