Albert Einstein died on Monday, April 18, 1955, at the age of 76. He was born in Ulm, Germany on March 14, 1879. His parents were Hermann and Pauline Einstein. After college graduation, he began working as a patent examiner at the Swiss patent office in Bern, Switzerland. Later, he graduated form the Eidgenossische Technische Hochschule, (ETH) Zurich, in 1900. In 1905, Einstein's works were frequently published in German physics journes. These articles were widely read and critically acclaimed. Already in 1911, Einstein was named associate professor of physics at the University of Zurich. However, soon thereafter, he received a full professorship at the University of Prague.
