TRIBUTE TO MY HUSBAND
I'll praise my maker while I have breath; And when my voice is lost in death' Praise shall employ my nobler power; My days of praise shall ne'er be past, Or immortality endures.
Albert and I met in Kumasi. Little did I know that meeting him would resolve into the union God set up for him and I. That blessed union I would jump into again with my eyes closed if given another opportunity. We have shared joys and sorrows for 51 years and thank God for enabling us to keep our vows inviolate.
As a father, he always spent time with the children. Therefore, he understood them very well. This cut-across, even to the extended family. Albert belived so much in education and tried every possible means to provide it to any child, be it his or not. To him, everyone must go to school. This principle of his still lives amongst his children and grandchildren.
As a husband, you were the perfect man. I called you "LOVE" and you responded "DARLING". Love is patient, kind, not boastful, and does not keep wrong of another, keeping this motto you played the role of a husband so well. Behind every successful man, there is a woman but I say the man makes that woman. The gentleman you were, you gave attention to me no matter what.
If there were any award as Gentleman of the year, it would be given to you every year. This is so because that is actually what you were. The hallmark of a true gentleman with good principles. The way you ate with your cutlery, dressed with your suit, hat and walked, talked eloquently, respectfully and wisely to all made me proud of you.
My last words are a constant repetion of thanks for being an adorable sweet loving husband and father. for being there when ever we needed you. My brother, friend, teacher and most of all my adorable husband. I will miss you so much but I know we will meet again. The life journey taken with you will never be forgotten.
Bye Love, Bye.
