Corey Galloway
The Celebration in the memory of our beloved Corey Galloway who was born in Houston, TX on the 9th November 1975 and made his transition on a new life on the 7th of August 2012, 36 years of age, May your Soul Rest In Peace.

The Sun has risen on a new day! This day we celebrate the life and the transition of Mr. Corey Cortez Galloway. Corey embarked on this life journey on November 9th, 1975 in Jefferson Davis Hospital to Spurgeon P. Gordon and Ms. Lillian Galloway. Corey was educated in HISD schools having attended Jack Yates High School. To those who knew and loved Corey the only thing more evident than his smile was his giving and loving heart, he was a devoted and loyal son who would literally give to someone the shirt from his back. Corey was a quiet and simple man of few words but was a giant of service to those whom he encountered in this life. He was known affectionately as "CoCo".

Corey possessed a love of music and was a huge fan of the Isley
Brothers. Corey was a man of unshakable statue reminiscent of an Isley brothers song entitled "The Highways of My Life" which goes as follows. " Moving down the highways of my life. Making sure I stay to the right. Moving down the highways of my life and I can't be concerned with the other side of the road". Corey stood steadfast and unshakable in the most important battle of his life when he was beset by health problems. On the morning of August 7th, 2012 a brave soldier succumbed to the weaknesses of the body in MD Anderson Hospital but his spirit will live on in those who knew and loved him! Corey has left behind all of the sorrows and the pains.

More importantly Corey has left behind a legacy of a kind and gentle spirit of love! Corey leaves behind to celebrate his life in his loving mother, Lillian Galloway, four sisters, Tambra Badon (Hurley), Bobbie Folie (Eric), and Ericka Galloway, Cassandra Grisby (Sister by Father), Big Brother/Cousin Jamar Galloway Nieces, LaToya Badon and Breanna Spivey, one nephew Kaden Houston and many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

latoya has taken the time to prepare this thoughtful memorial to the memory of Corey Galloway, and wishes now to give a friend or family member an opportunity to contribute as well by, for example, upgrading this memorial, to enable their leaving virtual candles and flowers, permit guest posting, post videos, life timeline, a family tree and more! Upgrading allows family and friends to contribute to the memorial to create a living and dynamic tribute to Corey, which will help ensure that Corey's memory lives on in our hearts for years to come, until we meet again. Your contribution will be acknowledged on the memorial, unless you choose to remain anonymous. » more information
