Survived By: Mother, wife, children and spouses, siblings and spouses, and five grandchildren - Katie-Lauren, Brooke, Audrey, Taylor, and Jacqueline. Dozens of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Kin and friends too numerous to name.

We celebrate a life that was full, start to finish. Although, cut short by disease Dad packed a lot into 63 years of living. Too numerous the stories I've heard of the wild antics with friends and relatives growing up in a small rural town in the 50's and 60's. He made life long friends here. Dad joined the Army right out of school, got married, and entered a trade all by the time most are still in college. Youth exchanged for responsibility with no regrets. He was always young at heart. He had an ever present sense of humor - you could count on it. I've met few with a bigger appetite for books, sometimes reading a book a night. I know few with a bigger appetite. He loved to fish and loved to show others how. He made a point to take each granddaughter on their first fishing expedition. A self taught businessman with an entrepreneurial spirit, he started his own business and became an expert in his field. He raised a family, and his children are raising families. Dad loved sports. He enjoyed playing, watching, reading and talking sports - the loudest booster to ever walk the sideline or sit in the stands. Dad liked to party. People liked to party with Dad. He loved his family and friends and told them so often. He was a tough guy with a soft heart. All who knew him will miss him for different reasons. Everyone will remember David Dunbar in different ways. I'll think of him often... I'll share my rememberences with family and friends. In my heart, and in my head I'll think of Dad in a literary way. Shakespeare penned Antony to say of Julius Caesar, "His life was gentle, and the elements/ So mixed in him that Nature might stand up/ And say to all the world, 'This was a man!'" We love you...
