Dwane was the loving husband of Daura Faye Dowdy/Hale for 59 years and 11 months. He provided love, support, guidance, and encouragement to his 2 children, 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He leaves a wonderful and lasting legacy of kindness, generousity, honesty, integrity, loyality, and hard work. He was devoted to the Lord Jesus Christ, his family. and his friends. A retired Operations Manager for Merchants Truck Line, his retirement days were spent living and working on the farm of his childhood where he enjoyed the company of his family and friends. After an 8 month battle with cancer, he died while surrounded by the family that he loved.
