Eddie J. Vaughan III was born on August 2, 1970, in Emporia, VA.
Eddie, son of Eddie and Catherine Vaughan. On Monday,
August 31, 2009 affectionately known as "Maine and Messiah" was
called home.

Eddie was a man with multiple avocations. One of which was a
love for cars. He loved working on cars, buying and selling cars and
just plain profiling.

Eddie was raised in Brooklyn, NY from the age of 4 years old.
Eddie migrated to his home state, Virginia with his wife Alysande
in 2005.

At an early age "Maine" was baptized at Holy Redeemer Pentercostal Church in
Brooklyn, NY. Although "Maine" didn't have a home church, he
watched services every Sunday morning on television.

One thing family and friends knew about our beloved "Maine",
"Messiah", he would help anyone and was always there when you
needed him. He was a man filled with love and happiness.

Do Not Stand At My Grave and Weep

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you wake in the morning hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.

Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die!
