In Memory Of Elizabeth (Beth) Ann Wrobel (née Pendl)
Survived By: Brother's Charles, & Michael

While drafting "Beyond Dodge Road",  a letter sent by an immediate family member would cross my desk and shake my world to its very core. I’d learn from Elizabeth’s younger brother Michael that Beth had passed away on June 6th, 2009, her battle with cancer lost, and she just fifty-five years old.

Elizabeth’s strengths, her relentless self-confidence, I’d gain so much from just having known her, so often experienced with her, enjoyed so much of the wonderful human-being that she truly was, traits she instilled in my life would have to carry me now, and in her memory alone. I knew that I had to find it within myself to be truly happy if I were again to find any sense of real peace in my life, to move beyond this grief I felt in my heart, to move forward.

To travel down Dodge road as I once did, knowing Beth is no longer with us seems as if the last man standing has left the building and turned out the lights. It’s not the same for me anymore, the pain felt seeing Beth’s parent’s home void of they is just too much to bear. A place that once held so much promise for happiness, is now filled with so much pain.

Elizabeth was at peace, laid to rest beside her parents, within the family plot, and I now more than ever before needed to find a bit of that peace for myself. In Elizabeth’s memory I would battle my demons one last time, and then move forever "Beyond Dodge Road".
