I will always remember my Dad as a patient and kind man who treated people he knew and people he didn't know with respect and concern. He was always ready to offer a word of encouragement to someone as he went along on his daily routines.Often, I saw Dad tip his hat to the ladies at the gas station or grocery store wishing them'The top of the morning to you and a have a safe day to you.' Now that Dad has went to be with the LORD I look back on those things and miss seeing him do the things he did, which in the era I grew up in was not seen. I consider myself a fortunate woman to have had a father who still had respect where respect was due,a rare and dying thing. Bless his heart! I miss you Dad and love you always.
