Going To Heaven When I am gone, release me, let me go I have so many things to see and do. You mustn't tie yourselves to me with tears, just be happy that we had some years. I gave you my love, you can only guess how much you gave to me in happiness. I thank you for the love you each have shown, but now it's time I traveled on alone. Do grieve a while for me if you must then let your grief be comforted by trust. It's only for a while that we must part, so keep our memories within your hearts. I won't be far away, for life goes on. so if you need me call and I will come. Though you can't see or touch me I'll be near, and if you listen with your heart you will hear, All of my love around so soft and dear. And then when you must come this way alone, I'll greet you with a smile and say Welcome Home.
Gary was enlisted in the Army on September 19, 1967-1971,National Guard 1971-December 12, 1995.
His medals our as follows: National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Expert Badges M14 and M16 and 2 Overseas Bar

Gary len, Holt was is an amazing man he meant soooooo! much to me more than word's could ever describe. He was alway's just a Happy Gentlemen he would give you the shirt off of his back if he thought that you needed it! He has alway's been there for me he would laugh with you, cry with you, Whatever he thought that you wanted or needed that was him.He was a Good Man A very peacefull man. He loved to sing and dance and he just didn't care what people would think he would just do whatever would make him or anyone happy! A lot of us would shy away because of fear of imbarrassment but not him he has taught me so much and I love you Gary with my whole heart and I'm gonna miss you so much but you will be in my heart forever and ever.

Gary you were the love of my life I will miss you more than life itself. You brought so much joy and happiness into my life. I know that you would not want me to cry but, you meant the world to me. I hope that I can be hafe the person that you were. I can't wait till the day that I will meet with you in the glorious place called Heaven. I know how much you loved the lord Gary. I thank you so much for loving me and my family and for all the kind things that you have done for me and them. They loved you Gary as much as you loved them. Thankyou for the strength and knowledge that you gave me of the lord. Thank you for making me a stronger person.
