Our beloved Jimmy went to the heavens above on Friday, March 6, 2009 at the age of 50. Jim was born and raised in Denver, CO. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1977. Jim was always a free spirit with character that made friends with everyone he came into contact with. He became a Squash Pro and worked for Athletic Clubs in Denver, Vail, Manhattan, NY and Baltimore, MD. While in New York he met the love of his life, Sarah and they became the proud parents of two sons Jimmy and Freddy.
Jim is survived by his sons Jimmy and Freddy Taylor and their mother Sarah Taylor, mother Susan Cochran, step mother Helen Taylor-Likkel, brother Kevin Taylor (Penny), sisters Susie Taylor, Shannon Winne (Justin), Aunt Debbie McAlexander, Aunt Sherry Willits, Uncle Roy and Aunt Pat Taylor, Aunt Phyllis Smith, niece Joslynne Taylor, nephews Ian and Drake Smith, cousins Troy, Kachina, Davin, Anita, Craig, Yvonne, Toma, Vicki, George, Tracey, Kim, Kelly, his step-families and numerous wonderful generous friends.
Jim is preceded in death by his father James W. Taylor, Grandfather James W. Taylor, Grandmother Elizabeth Betty Taylor and Grandmother Mildred.
The Memorial Service will be Monday, March 16, 2009 at Advantage Aurora Chase Chapel, 1095 Havana Street, Aurora, CO, 80010 at 1pm. After the service please join the family to celebrate Jim's life at 6045 South Milwaukee Way in Centennial, CO.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Jimmy and Freddy Taylor's college fund, care of James E. Taylor sent to 411 Regester Avenue, Baltimore, MD, 21212.
Jim will forever be in our hearts and memories, never forgotten, and may his journey be peaceful.
