Jeannette retired from the Frederick County, Maryland Board of Education in 1985 and her new life began as she moved West to live with her family, Donna and Webb and daughters Cara and Jen.To Cara and Jen, and their friends from grade school til today, Jeannette will always be known as MomMom.She is Aunt Jen to niece Kelley Hughes Foulger, husband Stephen and children Camiell and Isabell. Niece Karen and Mark Hopersberger and children Scott, Brian and Julie always looked forward to a visit to their Georgia home from Aunt Jenny. Jeannette loved the beaches of the East Coast and she looked forward to beach tiime with her dear friend, Beverly Haller of Brunswick, Maryland and of course with her brother Sam Hughes and wife Vivian in Manteo, North Carolina. Jen and her sister Pauline Andreczjack of Palm Desert always had a special relationship. They enjoyed travel, and of course "sister time." Sister Phyllis and husband Raymond Thompson of Brunswick, Maryland will miss her yearly visit. Jeannette was loved by all and a special loss will be felt by those who were steadfast in visits and phhone calls during her illness--Angela Eden, Dagmar and Steve Foulger, Pat Magliaccio and Margaret Whalen all of Laguna Beach and Tom Mangelsen of Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
