In Memory Of Jonathan Paul Jones
by Pamela Evans- A dear close friend of the family
The year of nineteen-eighty-six brought special joy To Glenys and Tony-Wyn-Jones with the birth of a baby boy. J.P was an unexpected gift for the happy man and wife, Their other sons were both grown-up when he came into their life. It was the start of a new life, the future in their hands, Reasons to look forward, to hope and to make plans.
His Dad was a D.J. in a club when he met his future wife. From the time he was born there was music in young J.P`s life. With his mum he watched his Dad at work as a skilled D.J., Met many stars from the pop charts, heard them sing and play. Though they know many famous stars, his parents would agree That the brightest star in their eyes is their very own J.P.
Due to a childhood accident his health was not the best But that did not stop Jonathan, he coped with every test. He joined the local judo club and soon began to win, It made his family so proud as medals kept coming in. But, to all who knew him it came as no suprise When it was personality that he gained a major prize.
His courage and will-power as he fought in each match Gained him the admiration of the crowds who came to watch. With his cheeky grin and open heart he made friends far and wide As he travelled with the club throughout the counrtyside. By using his computer to surf the internet He got to know more special friends, some he never met.
As a typical teenager he drove his parents mad But he was devoted to his loving Mam and Dad. Part of a wide family, he loved them all to pieces Especially the younger ones, his nephews and his nieces. The love he gave out was returned by all his relations Who surrounded him with love across five generations.
Why he had to leave so early no-one can understand But though we do not see him, he`s always close at hand. He wil live on forever in the heart and memory Of each one who loves and misses him, Jonathan Jones (J.P)
