TRIBUTES TO MY DEAR BROTHER KENNETH BRITTO EX INDIAN AIR FORCE/SWISSAIR (INDIA)
ON HIS 20TH DEATH ANNIVERSARY

He was 8 years my senior – strong with muscles of steel – 19 years in the Indian Airforce – saw through 3 wars – a lightweight boxer – he had all the qualities a man should possess.
That was my dear brother. I had never ending tales about him at school. I was so proud of him.
He bought me my first can-can – he complained about the teacher who pinched me hard – he gave me for myself to spend the first Rs.100/- note when I passed my S.S.C. – that was my so thoughtful brother.
But fate had its way – those muscles disappeared – his hair turned grey quite a bit – he began to get lean.
Then came the blow - straight into my face when at the Tata Hospital I was told that my dear brother was suffering from stomach cancer – in the terminal stage. My heart ached – I felt choked – there was nobody to tell except repeat to myself – Why? Why had this happened to my brother? I found no answer. Before another 5 months my brother was gone – gone before he turned 50. He has left behind sweet memories – memories I will forever cherish.

……..Leonora
