Never Said Good-Bye

You never got to say good-bye
You never told me you were leaving.
You were gone before I knew it,
And now all I do is cry.
There has been a million times
that I have needed you.
And so many times that I have cried.
If love alone could have saved you.
You never would have died.
Michael, in life I loved you dearly.
In death I love you still.
In my heart you hold a place
That no one can fill.
2-16-06 It broke my heart to lose you.
But Son you didn't go alone.
A big part of me went with you
the night God took you home.
