You were my son so full of life
Always smiling and carefree.
Life loved you being a part of it.
And I loved you being a part of me.
You could make me or anyone laugh
Even if we were having a bad day
No matter how sad I was
You could always take my hurt away.
You were always ready to take on the world
Ready to do it all.
But on 2-16-06 God gave you a call
God decided that he needed you
so from this world you left us all
You took a piece of all of us
our hearts is what you kept
Now your bed is empty where you once slept
And we can't see your face
But please always know this
Son know one will ever take your place.
You left us without a warning
Not even saying your good-byes
And I can't seem to stop asking the question why
Only God knows the answer
It was all in his plans
Only a question that your dad and I will never understand
But we know you are safely home in God's hands
