Job 1:21, ...the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away, blessed  be the name of the Lord!

Daddy,  you have finally  made  it, to your heavenly Father, to heaven, and to mama at last!  Words can never express how much I will miss you.  Though you are gone  to  the best possible place, heaven, a place we all should be striving to get to, I still  long to hear your voice and see your tender smile. At the ripe old age of 91, (yes you were old, even though you did not look or act your age (smile)) Daddy, you fought a battle many men younger would not have been able to endure.  Even during your most difficult times in your illness you never allowed your pain to stop you from showing affection to and for others. You always cared for others and provided for anyone you possibly could  help . You are now getting your reward, the Bible says you will reap what you sow . The Bible said it and I believe it, therefore I am happy to let you go!  My God is a good God (the only God) , He promised to never leave you and again he has kept His word, by  taking you away from your pain and suffering and returning you  to Him so that he could give you your rewards to enjoy for all eternity.

Daddy I was not aware nor ready for mama to leave, but the decision was not mine and being the Crumbsnatcher that I am I proably would never have been ready for her to go. It was quite different with you. The time had come that I wanted you to let go (die) and I thank  God for  releasing your soul from the wrecked and damage shell that was  housing it. I have to say it like that daddy so  I can handle not having you here any more.

Whenever I  find my memory slipping and each time that I forget something  I dread that it may be the onset of your illness and  wonder would I be able to go thru what you went thru. The answer is no, no, no way. I long to be in heave with  Mama, Frank, Anita, Autnt Emma, Uncle Leon,  and of course you, but mostly I want to spend eternity with God. So before I can go I have to do a beeter job of getting my house in order so that when my time comes I will  be ready to  reeive  my just rewards. If not then I will only be able to get in but not  march around heave with all the other saints and you.

Well pappy,  it is after midnight and I must go to bed,  even though I have a decent job, I must do it in order to keep it. I am not as dedicated a worker as you were but I am still trying. God is not through with me yet, I am a miracle, a work in progress!

Before I turn in for the night I just want to take this opportunity to  Thank God for His Grace & Mercy and for all my family, love ones and friends.

I firmly believe ...Job 1:21.
