Most famous for his role in Dirty Dancing, Patrick Swayze cemented his strong and romantic actor image in Hollywood. Diagnosed with Stage IV pancreatic cancer in 2008, the truth of the battle Patrick was fighting was largely unknown to the media. Sadly, the battle was lost September 14, 2009 with reports of his death triggering thousands of online condolences and tributes.
