I am from Minnesota, but lived in Florida for five years. During that time I met Sarah at Community Presbytarian Church in Celebration, FL. She had such an amazing impact on my life. She will always be my best friend and the sister that I never had (only child). I am now living in a small town in Minnesota with my loving husband Rob, Molly (my silly puppy), Flounder (my slightly overweight tabby cat) and Moses (Sarah's fun loving cat, that Suzy and Bill kindly gave me when Sarah passed).
What I remember most about Sarah Talbot Wilson
Her strong faith, amazing smile, bright eyes, and bubbly personality. When Sarah walked up to me, my mood always brightened.
When I first met Sarah Talbot Wilson
While having coffee with Rev. Patrick Wrisley at Barnie's in Celebration, she came up to say "Hi" to Patrick and to introduce herself to me. The next week she stood with me as a sponsor when I became a member of Community Presbytarian Church. We became great friends just after that.
When I last saw Sarah Talbot Wilson
In 2004, I moved from Florida back to Minnesota. Sarah drove with me and helped me move. We had a great time driving across the country. Then she stayed for a week to help me get settled. We had a great time that week. I got to show her my home state. She also helped decorate my apartment. On May 28 2004, she flew back to Florida. We were very sad to say goodbye. I never would have thought that would be the last time that I would see her.
My favorite memory of Sarah Talbot Wilson
We had so many great times together, this is one memory that always brings a smile to my face: on our trip to Hilton Head - Sarah sang and played guitar for my family and me, one of the songs was "Soak Up The Sun" by Sheryl Crow. She was so talented.
Most thing in common I had with Sarah Talbot Wilson
Our Faith, Sarah really helped me come back to God in a new and closer way than ever before. She helped me to understand the Bible. She even taught how to truly pray from your heart. Also, we both loved to be silly and have fun. No matter what we did together it was always fun. Even when one of us was having a bad day, together we could always find a way to lighted the mood and laugh.
