Siev
Keang Ear, PharmD, age 30, passed away Friday, August 24th surrounded
by family and friends at Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview,
Illinois. Siev was born in Cambodia on January 3rd, 1977.
Her family made a journey to the United States in 1981. After
graduation from Mundelein High School in 1995, Siev continued her
education at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.
Seeking a degree in Pharmacy, Siev transferred to and graduated from
the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2000. She completed her
Degree in Pharmacy from the University of Illinois at Chicago in
2002. After school, Siev worked as a pharmacist at Walgreens for
five years. In the summer of 2006, she purchased a home in Round
Lake and was able to spend much time with her nearby family.
Siev
is survived by her parents, Seav Huy Ear and Yun Ching Leav Ear of
Mundelein, Illinois and her brothers, Ty (Sarah) Ear and Tom Ear,
boyfriend, Darren Farmer and her beloved Yorkie, Summer. She is
also survived by her grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous
friends.
Siev was a beautiful, vibrant, young, unselfish
daughter, sister, companion and friend who loved helping others around
her as evident by her career as a pharmacist. She would always
place the happiness and desires of her family and friends above her
own. She will be dearly missed as she has made this world a
better place.
Visitation will be held at Barr Funeral Home, 6222
North Broadway, Chicago, IL on Thursday, August 30th from 3:00pm to
9:00pm. Funeral services will be held at Barr Funeral Home on
Friday, August 31st at 8:30am. Burial to follow at 10:30am at
Rosehill Cemetery, 5800 North Ravenswood Avenue, Chicago, IL.
