Vivi lived an adventurous life, from her childhood in Cairo to her adulthood in California and Alaska. She had a wonderful and sharp sense of humor, and a strong love for her family. Vivi spoke multiple languages, and taught French at the University of Cal-Berkeley and the University of Alaska-Anchorage. She was a phenomenal canasta player and avid fan of Uncle Yu's chinese cuisine.
