Perfection

by JM
"Third birth" refers to our birth in Heaven. We are born once on Earth. As believers, we are born again into the Kingdom of God. And then, when we enter Heaven, it's a sort of third birth.

"Perfection's a trick, a carrot on a stick,
it will never be gained on this Earth"
All my soul does agree, nothing else could be,
until that day of third birth.
And on that day when my soul flies away,
and I see my Lord face to face,
I'll praise His perfection, that gave me direction
and caused me to run my best race
